MOTHER NATURE WASHES OUT SATURDAY RACING AT PPMS FOR 2ND STRAIGHT WEEK
PITTSBURGH, PA (Aug. 27) – Persistent showers throughout the day with a forecast of more on the way forced Miley Motorsports to cancel the Saturday, August 27 racing program at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The Napa Late Model “Pappy Kessler Memorial” postponed from August 20 has been rescheduled to Saturday, September 3. In addition, the Advance Auto Parts Limited Late Model “Jook George Memorial” which was to have taken place Saturday night has also been rescheduled for September 3rd. The E-Mods, Isiminger’s Pennzoil Pure Stocks and Amateur Stocks will be in action as well and Bike Races for kids up to twelve (helmets required) will take place at intermission. Gates open at 5:00pm with racing at 7:00pm.
