PITTSBURGH, PA  (Sept. 21, 2007) - Bart Hartman Zanesville OH won the $1500 25 lap Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Late Model Feature Friday night, as a warm up to the WoO Late Model special Saturday.  Former Pittsburgher winner Hartman grabbed the lead on the first lap of the 25 lap main, and battled most of the way with another invader former World 100 winner Brian Birkhofer to pick up the win. 2007 track champ, Jared Miley drove a strong race to finish third, followed by two former PPMS champs Keith Barbara, and Al Atallah in fourth and fifth. Brandon Burgoon was sixth followed by Lou Bradich, Mark Banal, Greg Satterlee, and Mike Johnson. Heats for the 30 Lates on hand were won by Keith Barbara, Jared Miley and Brian Birkhofer.

In the Brougher’s Speed Shop Crate Lates Clinton PA’s Jason Rider picked up his fourth win of 2007. Daryl Charlier grabbed the lead on the first lap, but slowed on lap 4 on the front straight bringing out a caution. This gave the lead to Rider, who never looked back and romped to the win. 2007 champ Kyle Lukon moved into second on lap 14, but was no match for Rider. 2006 champ Mike Cecere returned to action to finish third followed by Russ Kolesar, Jim Kutas, Tommy Schirnhofer, Scott Schempp, Mark Moats Jr., Neal Isiminger (subbing for Laura Lukon, who injured her hand in a hot laps crash), and Mike Pegher. Russ Kolesar and Mike Cecere took the heats.

The Miley Truck Rental E-Mods saw Daryl Charlier win his 5th of 2007 in an exciting race with invader Carl McKinney. McKinney took the lead off Kevin Miller on lap 6, and had a wheel-to-wheel battle with Charlier until lap 14, when Charlier took over. Charlier led the final two laps with McKinney right behind. Jacob Hawkins drove a strong race to finish third, followed by Kari Gasser, Miller, Tom Martineck, Russ Matejka, Mike Basich, Chris Basich, and J.E. Stalder. The heats went to Kari Gasser, Wayne Tessean and Jacob Hawkins.

Sunoco Race Fuels Pure Stocks had Bill Robertson defeat a strong field to pick up his third win of 2007. Robertson took the lead off Nick Kocuba on lap 7, and held off Pat Weldon and later Pat Hanley to get the win. Invader Hanley had another strong run to finish second followed by Danny Rich, Kocuba, Jake Simmons, Jim Bendishaw, Mitch Wattelet, Robert Betz, Don Bauerle, and Derek Stefanick. The heats fell to Danny Rich and Bill Robertson.

A small field of Old Allegheny Shoppe Amateur Stocks saw Gary Koteles, South Park, PA grab his first win of 2007. Brian Huchko, Ray Prolenski and J.J. O’Patchen trailed. Gary Koteles also grabbed the heat win.
