Jared Miley Repeats; Kyle Lukon, Robertson, Chris Basich, Bish and Reft win at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway on July 28 2007.
PITTSBURGH, PA (July 28) - Jared Miley South Park, PA point leader and last week’s winner picked up his third Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Late Model feature. Brandon Burgoon grabbed the early lead and built up a huge lead by the time the first yellow appeared on lap 15 for Brandon Wearing. Miley had charged thru the field to move into third at that point. On the restart, Miley out jumped second running Tom Beck and moved into second and set sail for the high-flying Burgoon. On lap 16, Miley moved alongside Burgoon and battled for the top spot before moving ahead on lap 17. Burgoon ran second for another lap, then Lynn Geisler moved by. Miley held the top spot followed by Geisler, Burgoon, Al Atallah who charged from 12th and Tom Beck. On lap 22 a yellow appeared for the spun car of Dave Johnson and tightened the field up. While officials lined up the field for the restart, Burgoon pulled into the pits, the victim of a broken oil line fitting, ending his strong run. On the restart, Atallah moved past Geisler for second, while 8th starting Steve Baker moved past Beck for fourth. Another restart occurred on lap 23 for the stopped Keith Rodriquez.
