HAV-A-TAMPA DATE AT PPMS MOVED TO SATURDAY
IMPERIAL, PA The HAV-A-TAMPA Dirt Racing Series upcoming visit to Pittsburghs Pennsylvania Motor Speedway has been switched from Friday, August 14th to Saturday, August 15th. This came about after HAV-A-TAMPAs previously scheduled appearance at West Virginia Motor Speedway on August 15th was cancelled. The series will move to Hagerstown Speedway on Sunday, August 16th.
The HAV-A-TAMPA "Keystone 100" at PPMS will be the series second stop at Dirts Monster Half Mile this year. Back on May 17th, Skip Arp of Georgetown, TN won the first ever HAV-A-TAMPA appearance. Arp is currently second in the points race behind former two-time series title-holder Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN. As of August 3rd, Freddy Smith is third in the HAV-A-TAMPA points race, Dale McDowell fourth, and Wendell Wallace fifth.
In addition to the HAV-A-TAMPA Late Models, the Zoresco Limited Late Models will also be in action on August 15th. Pit gates will open at 3:30pm and grandstand gates at 4:30pm. Practice is scheduled for 5:30pm with time trials and racing to follow. Adult admission is $30, Students 13-16 $15, Children 6-12 $4, and under 6 are free. Pit admission is $38.
