Rain Claims Victory Again; Herb Scott Memorial Canceled
Imperial, PA — Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) has canceled tonight’s Herb Scott Memorial scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, due to saturated grounds after receiving over one inch of rainfall in the past 24 hours. The event will not be rescheduled. The next RUSH Late Model Touring Series event at PPMS will be the prestigious 36th Annual Jook George Steel City Classic on Saturday, July 26th.
This marks the fourth consecutive rainout for PPMS during the 2025 season, as persistent wet weather continues to impact early-year racing plans.
PPMS will now turn its attention to next Saturday, May 3rd, for the A&S Federal Credit Union Cinco De Mayo Fiesta Night, featuring the exciting return of the Bicknell Racing Products Big Block Modified Tour! This will mark their first appearance at Dirt’s Monster Half Mile since 2017. They’ll be joined by the Rohrich Parts Center/Chevrolet Performance RUSH Late Models, Pittsburgh Truck Center Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Crawford Auto Repair Four Cylinders, and the Kehm Oil Young Guns. Please note, the Auto House Hobby Stocks will have the weekend off.
Also on tap!
