How to Pay at PPMS

PPMS is a cash only facility past the front gate. We strongly recommend bringing cash to the facility prior to your arrival. Credit & debit cards may be used to purchase tickets at the grandstand ticket booth, but cannot be used at the pit side ticket booth. Additionally, there is an ATM located in the Checkered Flag Food Court where cards can also be used. Please note that vendors may not accept cards.

New & Improved Fan Experience

Each year, we are committed to improving your experience for the Pittsburgher 100 Weekend. This year, we are happy to showcase some of these improvements.

Pittsburgher Karting Clash - Thursday

Last year we launched a new tradition, the Pittsburgher Karting Clash, with our partners at Three Rivers Karting & Entertainment Park (3RK), located just 30 minutes from PPMS. This fan-favorite event gives you the chance to rub elbows and compete against four local Super Late Model drivers and four stars from the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in a series of head-to-head races. The night concludes with all eight drivers battling it out in a feature event you won’t want to miss! Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.

Didn’t secure a racing spot? No problem! 3RK offers plenty of entertainment, including arcade games, axe throwing, food, drinks, and more to keep the fun going. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet, race, and hang out with some of your favorite drivers! This event runs from 6PM until 9PM.

Pittsburgher Night 1 - Friday

As fans arrive on Friday, the atmosphere at PPMS will come alive! Music will fill the air from the TMT Transportation Stage, while adult inflatables like Joust and Wrecking Ball add to the fun. Before the racing begins at 6 PM, fans can browse souvenir and merchandise trailers or enjoy concessions and drinks around the facility.

After the checkered flag drops, head back to the TMT Transportation Stage for post-race interviews with the top three finishers from each division!

Breakfast is Served!

Start your engines with Saturday breakfast at PPMS! Our hearty morning fare is the perfect pit stop to refuel your energy and get ready to tackle another day of high-octane racing action. Serving a wide array of items including breakfast sandwiches, donuts, bagels and more! The bar will also be open just in-case you're looking for a little extra “fuel” to make sure you’re race-ready.

Pittsburgher Night 2 - Saturday

As fans arrive on Saturday, the excitement of the Pittsburgher continues! Recording artist Donnie Barney will perform live on the TMT Transportation Stage from 3:45–5:45 PM, creating the perfect backdrop as Joust and Wrecking Ball return for night two, giving fans the chance to challenge one another in friendly competition. From 4:30–5:15 PM, fans can also meet their favorite drivers during a special autograph session.

Before the racing begins, guests can shop souvenir and merchandise trailers or grab concessions and drinks to fuel up and get ready for the 37th Annual running of the Pittsburgher 100!

Camping & Lodging

For information on how to register for a camping spot, please visit our camping page. You will be able to access our camping registration form and instructions for your stay with us at the speedway! Please note that tent camping is not permitted due to township ordinance.

For lodging options near the speedway, visit our lodging page. Explore an interactive map of hotels and accommodations, many within 15 minutes of PPMS and Pittsburgh International Airport, with easy access via rideshare services like Uber and Lyft.

Parking

PPMS offers free parking at our facility! Cars will park in an open field comprised of a grass & dirt mix. Handicap parking is available near our ticket booth and will be designated by signage. Preferred parking will also be available for Saturday, October 4th. Preferred parking will cost $10 per car and will allow for guests to park closer to the entrance of the facility.

Bag Policy

Fans are welcome to bring bags into PPMS, but all bags are subject to inspection at the gate. To help ensure a safe and quick entry, please keep bags small and manageable (backpacks, purses, and diaper bags are permitted). Oversized bags, hard-sided coolers, backpack coolers, and outside food or beverages are not allowed. For faster entry, fans are encouraged, but not required, to use clear bags.

Outside Food and Beverage Policy

With plenty of options at our Checkered Flag Food Court and Real Nutz Vodka Club, outside food, beverages, and coolers, including alcohol, are not permitted at the Pittsburgher 100 Weekend. Limited exceptions apply for medically necessary items.

  • A small cooler may be brought for temperature-controlled medication, but it may contain only medically necessary items and will be subject to inspection at the gate.

  • Individuals with food allergies and dietary restrictions should reach out to the speedway office prior to their visit.

  • Guests may bring their own water. Water bottles should not exceed 24 ounces in size, and must be clear, plastic, factory sealed and disposable. Thermoses (or other metal insulated items) are permitted. Ice is permitted inside of these items. Any liquid must be dumped out prior to entry.

Seating & Accessibility

All seating at PPMS is wooden, open, bleacher-style grandstands. For added comfort, fans are welcome to bring a towel, blanket, seat cushion, or stadium seat. There are no designated or assigned seats by numbers. Our guests are welcome to sit where they like. If you "reserve" your seat by leaving a trash bag or blanket on the bleacher, please remove the item(s) prior to your departure.

PPMS strives to be welcoming and accessible for all fans. Handrails are now available for the first 8 rows of our main grandstand. The first row of our main grandstands is ramp-accessible, and wheelchair users or those unable to climb stairs may also sit in front of the grandstands or in our lawn chair seating area near Turn 1.

Our restrooms, Checkered Flag Food Court, gift shop, and the Real Nutz Vodka Club are all located at ground level. Walkways throughout the facility are primarily composed of hard-packed dirt, pea gravel, and grass.

Re-Entry Policy

Fans who need to leave the facility during an event may re-enter by presenting both their ticket and wristband at the gate. Guests without both will be denied re-entry; no exceptions. All re-entries are subject to inspection upon return. Please note that outside food, drinks, and coolers remain prohibited, even after re-entry.
