Herb Scott Memorial Postponed Due to Weather Forecast; Event Rescheduled for April 26
IMPERIAL, PA — April 18, 2025 — Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PPMS) has announced the cancellation of the Herb Scott Memorial race originally scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, due to the projected weather forecast. The event has been rescheduled to its rain date of Saturday, April 26, 2025. The decision to cancel was made proactively, considering the anticipated inclement weather and the Easter weekend. PPMS aims to provide teams and fans with ample notice to adjust their plans accordingly.?
This marks three consecutive events that have been lost due to inclement weather since the March 15th “Pot of Gold 2” event, which was also tested and threatened by less than ideal conditions. “It’s been a difficult start to the season,” states Blair Cress Jr. “We’re ready to get back to it. We want to race just as bad as anyone else out there. Once we get the opportunity, it's full steam ahead. We are chomping at the bit to reopen our gates to our fans.”
Joining the RUSH Late Model Touring Series on April 26th will be the Pittsburgh Truck Center Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, The Auto House Hobby Stocks, Crawford Auto Repair Open Four Cylinders, and the Kehm Oil Young Guns.
Tickets and additional event information is available at ppms.com.
