Dirt.TV Double Down Introduces Two-Night Pro Stock Bonus Across Lernerville and PPMS

Pittsburgh, PA — A new joint initiative designed to reward commitment, consistency, and performance across two nights of competition has been announced by Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Beginning this season, the two facilities will collaborate to present the DIRT.tv Double Down, a Pro Stock bonus program connecting select Friday and Saturday race weekends.

Presented by Dirt.TV, the Double Down is built around a straightforward concept: compete at both tracks, perform across both nights, and earn the reward.

On designated weekends when Pro Stocks compete at Lernerville on Friday and PPMS on Saturday, drivers who start both feature events will be eligible for the Double Down bonus. At the conclusion of Saturday’s feature at PPMS, the top three eligible drivers, determined by combined finishing positions across both nights, will earn a share of the $500 bonus, funded jointly by both facilities.

If both events are not completed within the same weekend, the Double Down bonus will not be distributed for that date.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment between Lernerville Speedway and Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway to support and strengthen the Pro Stock division across the region. By aligning schedules on select weekends, the Double Down provides an added incentive for competitors while maintaining the integrity of each track’s individual program.

The collaboration was developed through the efforts of John Tomson, Greg Wheeling, and Blair Cress Jr., whose leadership and coordination between both facilities helped bring the Double Down to life.

“This program is designed to recognize the drivers who commit to competing at both tracks in the same weekend,” Greg Geibel and Tyler Harris said in a joint statement. “The Double Down is not a points series and does not require a season-long commitment. Each weekend stands on its own. Compete at both events, perform consistently, and put yourself in position to earn the reward.”

Dirt.TV will highlight Double Down weekends through its broadcast coverage, providing additional visibility to participating drivers and reinforcing the connection between the two facilities for fans both at the track and watching remotely.

The 2026 Dirt.TV Double Down weekends are as follows:

  • April 24–25
  • May 8–9
  • May 15–16
  • May 22–23
  • May 29–30
  • June 5–6
  • June 12–13
  • July 10–11
  • July 31–August 1
  • August 7–8
  • August 14–15
  • October 2 & 16-17

An exception will be made for the Bob Walters Memorial on Friday, October 2, and the Steel City Stampede Weekend on October 16–17, where these events will still count as one Double Down weekend despite not being run on consecutive nights.

With two tracks, two nights, and one combined outcome, the Dirt.TV Double Down provides a clear and meaningful opportunity for Pro Stock competitors throughout the 2026 season.
